Here’s to people who thinks that they need something who’ll truly understand. Some sort of existence that knows the pain you’re feeling, the joy you long to have and some sort of existence that is truly there. Here’s to people who wants to find another way to connect with the Divine and to know that something is there to help you express what you want. When you feel like nobody cares or nobody even wants to care, Music is there. We all want to have a voice, to speak up but we just can’t because we think that no one will listen. Let music be our voice. Music is like your friend… Your family… Your loved one… When you feel like it’s just you against the world, music is still there. Music exists because He created it. When you feel like God is not hearing your pleading, cries, and disappointments, He wants you to know that He created something. Something that would tell you He still has good things in store of your life through the lyrics found in the songs, there is always a hidden message. You just have to figure it out. Music must not be abused by everyone who uses it. Music must be a voice that speaks up for the mute, the vibration that helps the deaf, and the booster of imagination of the blind.
“Music is a moral law. It gives the soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and charm and gaiety to life and to everything.” -Plato
Chrisma Jasmine “Jassy” M. Gomez is a 16-year-old Filipina who desires and is eager that others may open their eyes that music is not just music itself. That there is something more to the word “music”. She was born on January 14, 2000 in the province of Pangasinan, Philippines. Her father’s name is Stephen L. Gomez who is a full-blooded Ilocano while her mother’s name is Vilma Bing M. Gomez who is a full blooded Pangasinense. She’s an 11th grader who is currently studying at the University of the Cordilleras. She decided to start a blog because she was born to the reality where people nowadays do not value music’s worth. Obviously, she came from a family who is musically inclined and raised up having God-given talents. As young as she is, she wants to voice out her opinions and how the music we hear be truly like. Her purpose on creating a blog is to let other people know that someone like her wants to stand up and voice out what she wants to emphasize about music and through this blog, she will be an inspiration for other music-lovers to speak up and tell everything about what they visualize about music and its real purpose to every human kind.
